UAS® Automatic Cleaning Mobile Ex-proof U-TEX Filter Units operate based on the surface filtration principle.

U-TEX Antistatic Cartridge Filters are coated with a special material that separates dust before it penetrates into the filter. The antistatic cartridge filters are cleaned automatically with compressed air. Compressed air is blown homogeneously through the inside of the filter by air nozzles. Dust accumulated on the outer surface of the filter is discharged outward and collected in the dust container. The compressed air tank is located inside the unit, and a connection for an external compressor supplying 6 bar air pressure is available on the device.

The PP Fan installed in the unit is an antistatic, anti-corrosive polypropylene PP ATEX plastic Ex-proof centrifugal radial fan designed for the extraction of flammable, combustible, explosive, ignitable, abrasive, corrosive vapors, chemical gases, and vapors.

The unit is equipped as standard with an ON/OFF switch, a warning light indicating unit operation, a warning light indicating filter contamination, a 5-meter main power cable with cable carrier, antistatic cartridge filter, Ex-proof Acrobat Exhaust Arm, Ex-proof fan, and internal epoxy coating. The unit cleans the extracted contaminated air with an efficiency of 99.9% and returns it back to the environment.

Optionally, the unit can be equipped with an activated carbon filter. The activated carbon filter is specifically used for the absorption of gases and odors harmful to human health. 1 or 2 UAS® Ex-proof Acrobat Exhaust Arms® can be connected to the unit.

UAS® Ex-proof Acrobat Exhaust Arms® consist of a self-supporting structure capable of 360° rotation, a carcass covered with UAS® Forte antistatic and flame-retardant polyurethane hose, and a hood equipped with a 360° rotating air flow control damper. The arm can be positioned at any position and remains stable without requiring additional support. The hood is designed to effectively block fumes, dust, and gases, fully meeting point-vacuum requirements. Compared to conventional hoods, UAS® hoods provide up to 40% higher efficiency.

In addition to standard thermoplastic UAS® hoods, optional production is available in stainless steel, galvanized steel, or painted steel. Lighting sets and remote start-stop control for the fan motor are optional for UAS® Ex-proof Acrobat Exhaust Arms®.

UAS® Ex-proof Acrobat Exhaust Arms® can also be used independently without being connected to filter units.
