Forte Pldflex

Material

Hose wall: Extra heavy-duty, highly abrasion-resistant, flame-retardant and permanently antistatic special polyurethane (TPU). Available in transparent or black.

Spiral: Spring steel wire integrated into the hose wall.

PLDFLEX is designed for industrial applications requiring long service life under severe abrasion, high mechanical loads, vacuum and pressure conditions.

Temperature Resistance

Continuous operating temperature: –40°C / +90°C

Short-term: up to +125°C

Operating temperature should be determined by considering the conveyed material, ambient temperature, air velocity, vacuum/pressure and operating duration.

Wall Thickness

3 – 5 mm

Its thick-wall construction provides high mechanical strength, vacuum/pressure resistance and extended service life when conveying highly abrasive materials.

Standard Length

10 m – 15 m – 20 m – 40 m

Can be manufactured in one continuous length up to 40 metres.

A price surcharge may apply for special lengths exceeding 20 metres.

Attention

The use of an antistatic hose alone does not ensure the electrostatic safety of the entire system.

The steel spiral inside the hose must be properly grounded, and electrical continuity should be checked after installation.

For applications involving combustible or explosive dusts, hose selection should be evaluated together with the conveyed material, process conditions, plant grounding system and applicable safety requirements.

PLDFLEX is an antistatic hose. It should not be classified as an electrically conductive hose.

Electrically conductive hoses can be manufactured upon request, subject to minimum order quantities and the customer's technical specifications.
