Forte PU-LA se

Material

Hose wall: Special abrasion-resistant, flame-retardant and permanently antistatic polyurethane (TPU). Available in transparent or black.

Spiral: Copper-coated spring steel wire integrated into the hose wall.

Despite its thin-wall construction, PU-LA se provides high mechanical strength and is designed for industrial applications requiring flexibility, low weight and antistatic properties.

Temperature Resistance

Continuous operating temperature: –40°C / +90°C

Short-term: up to +125°C

When determining the operating temperature, the conveyed material, ambient temperature, air velocity, vacuum/pressure and operating duration should be considered together.

Wall Thickness

0.7 – 1.0 mm

Its thin-wall construction provides low weight and high flexibility. For highly abrasive materials or applications involving higher mechanical loads, thicker-wall models from the UAS® FORTE range should be preferred.

Standard Length

10 m – 15 m – 20 m – 40 m

Can be manufactured in one continuous length up to 40 metres.

A price surcharge may apply for special lengths exceeding 20 metres.

Attention

The use of an antistatic hose alone does not ensure the electrostatic safety of the entire system.

The copper-coated steel spiral inside the hose must be properly grounded, and electrical continuity should be checked after installation.

For applications involving combustible or explosive dusts, hose selection should be evaluated together with the properties of the conveyed material, the plant grounding system, process conditions and applicable safety requirements.

PU-LA se is an antistatic hose. It should not be classified as an electrically conductive hose.

Electrically conductive hoses can be manufactured upon request, subject to minimum order quantities and the customer's technical specifications.
